Solutions Engineer

Translate between how a business actually works and what Peak One can do – honestly, technically sound and easy to follow.

Why this role exists

Our customers work with processes and tools that have grown over time. For Peak One to fit sensibly, we need someone who understands requirements technically, assesses solutions realistically and says clearly what works and what doesn't. That protects customers from false expectations and the product team from unclear requirements.

Your outcomes

  • Technically validated solution proposals before and during implementation.
  • Documented standard solutions for recurring customer requirements.
  • Clearly written product requirements from real customer situations.
  • Fewer surprises between what Sales promised and what is actually delivered.

Your day and scope

Clarifying requirements with customers, checking technical feasibility, delivering configurations and connections within the approved frame, supporting Account Executives and Implementation in conversations, and preparing insights for the product team. Customer data is handled under clear privacy rules.

Boundaries: You own the technical solution side in customer contact. Product development and roadmap sit with the product team; you deliver solid requirements, not unilateral custom builds.

Your first 90 days

  1. First 30 days

Learn Peak One technically and functionally, join customer conversations and collect typical requirements.

  2. By day 60

Develop your own solution proposals with feedback and document first standard solutions.

  3. By day 90

Reliably answer technical customer questions on your own and have established an orderly path for requirements to the product team.

What you bring

  • Technical understanding of software, data and interfaces.
  • Customer-facing experience, e.g. in pre-sales, consulting or implementation.
  • Ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical people.
  • Honesty about what a solution can and cannot do.

What you can learn with us

  • Peak One and its architecture in detail.
  • The tools our customers typically use.

When this role is less of a fit

You only want to code without talking to customers, or promise solutions before they have been checked.

Compensation and conditions

We only commit to compensation, contract type, working hours and location once they are approved. We will tell you all of it concretely in the first call, before you invest time in further steps.

Your application process

  1. Short application

Name, email and your answer to the role's entry question. CV optional.

  2. First call

A personal conversation about the role, conditions and your questions. We cover compensation and location concretely here.

  3. Work sample

An announced, time-bounded task: based on a fictional customer description you sketch a solution proposal with assumptions, open questions and limits and present it briefly. People assess technical judgement, honesty and clarity. No access to real systems.

  4. Decision

A person decides, never an AI. You always get a response.

Your entry question

„A prospect asks whether Peak One works with a tool you don't know. What do you do before you answer?“
