Head of Partnerships

Grow partnerships at Peak Atlas into a function of its own that can be planned – with a clear strategy, fair agreements and traceable results.

Why this role exists

Entrepreneurs trust advisers, associations, agencies and software vendors they already know. Individual partnerships are a good start; in the long run we need a strategy for which partner types really fit Peak Atlas, how collaboration is governed and how partners contribute to growth and community.

Your outcomes

  • An agreed partner strategy with prioritised partner types.
  • Consistent agreement and hand-over standards for all partnerships.
  • Traceable measurement of which partnerships lead to conversations and customers.
  • A partner programme that scales with further Partnership Managers.

Your day and scope

Holding strategic partner conversations, prioritising partnerships, preparing agreements within the approved frame, supporting Partnership Managers and aligning with Sales, Marketing, Marketplace and Revenue Operations. Later on, hiring further roles in the function is part of it too. Terms and contracts are approved by an accountable owner.

Boundaries: You own the strategy and build-up of the partnerships function. Closing with end customers is done by Account Executives; day-to-day care of individual partners can sit with Partnership Managers.

Your first 90 days

  1. First 30 days

Understand the offer, target customers and existing partner relationships; talk to partners and Sales and name gaps.

  2. By day 60

Agree a partner strategy with priorities, standards and a measurement approach.

  3. By day 90

Put the strategy into practice in a steady rhythm, evaluate first results and present a plan for further build-up.

What you bring

  • Several years of experience building B2B partnerships or channel programmes.
  • Strategic thinking combined with enjoying hands-on execution.
  • Negotiation skills and reliability.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.

What you can learn with us

  • Our portfolio in detail.
  • Our internal partner and CRM processes.

When this role is less of a fit

You mainly want networking and representation without measurable results, or only want to manage an existing programme.

Compensation and conditions

We only commit to compensation, contract type, working hours and location once they are approved. We will tell you all of it concretely in the first call, before you invest time in further steps.

Your application process

  1. Short application

Name, email and your answer to the role's entry question. CV optional.

  2. First call

A personal conversation about the role, conditions and your questions. We cover compensation and location concretely here.

  3. Work sample

An announced, time-bounded task: for a fictional company you sketch a partner strategy with two prioritised partner types, agreement principles and success criteria. People assess prioritisation, realism and clarity. No contact with real partners.

  4. Decision

A person decides, never an AI. You always get a response.

Your entry question

„What criteria would you use to decide which partner type Peak Atlas should work with seriously first – and which one deliberately not yet?“
